Song Information:
The lyrics and conception of this was years ago, and I remembered it after reading CR's topic about song quality and Genre's. I tend to post something because it is taking form, and update it as I go. Often I'm writiing songs and presenting them rather than making records - has to please me though. So this one is about making music. Thank you MacIdol. in the last three months I have written 20 songs and some loopy things. Before that I hadn't really played my guitar more than a couple of times a month since my kids were born. Don't ask about juggling, which i also love It's just excellent to be making music again
It's my first shot at recording something stemming from my Irish influences (all around me, and in london pubs years ago, and in Irish rock bands I have enjoyed. This one is more "nouveau trad irish folk" Fek! genre's are ttricky. Also my Grandad was a respected Tipperary fiddler and I know they get MacIdol streams in the great Back Room in the sky so he will have heard this one by now.
