This song was posted here a long time ago but I took it off because I never really was all that comfortable with the first version of it. I took off the acoustic guitar part and replaced the electric piano loops with piano I played. And then I started having fun with the voice transformation thing to add harmonies of a sort by copying my original vocal and transposing it. It probably should have been re-recorded but what the heck! I like the tightness of these harmonies part tho they sound sorta chipmunk-y.
Anyway I added this lap steel solo and then some really wacky stuff at the end and there ya go.
It's a true story. Almost 2 years ago I was driving to a gig and as I turned the corner a couple blocks from my house some little ruffians threw rocks at my car. I got out to yell at them and of course they took off. A lady said, "they went through there, and you probably can catch them" so I cut across a yard and fell down as I was running down a gravel driveway. I don't know what I was thinking I was going to do, but there ya have it. I broke my elbow and it hurts to this day and I probably lost about 5% mobility in my left elbow, which makes it sort of painful to play guitar. I bet those kids wish they were sorry, because you don't mess with me! HaHa
