Song Information:
In the 1950's Jack Kerouac coined the term 'Beat Generation'. It referred to a group of poets and musicians who would collaborate together giving the words a musicial pad and in turn the words would add puncuation to the music. Sometimes the pieces would last 45 minutes or an hour.
This song features Kerouac's comments when asked to speak on the question of 'Is there a Beat Generation?'
I can only hope my backing music would bring him a smile.
