This is version 3 of Sleep, Baby, Sleep. It is in Emin, 3/4 time (as opposed to 4/4 time for the first two versions). I thank Jack Miller for pointing me in the 3/4 direction.
If anyone is interested, I have a piano score available for this in PDF format. I am also doing a Spanish version of this song.
Included here are MIDI cello, violins, bass, and piano...entered with a little Yamaha PSS-480 keyboard and tweaked with the Logic Express Matrix Edit interface (more than just a pencil tool!)
This song came to my brother Chris in a dream about a year ago. He sent me the lyrics and an a cappella draft sung into a pinhole mic on his Windows PC. I took it from there. I am going to sing it at Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve 2004 -- its world premiere!
