Song Information:
This song originated in 1992 and was my first ever MIDI composition, performed on a primitive Yamaha PSR-3500 keyboard. The new version is a complete reconstruction in GarageBand; none of the original inferior sound has been carried through. The song makes use of Apple's built-in software instruments, plus more from the Modular XLd expansion pack and the AMG SynthPack. The highlight of the song is the electric guitar; I scrapped one of my keyboard parts and asked my friend Mike Andrews to play the same sequence on guitar. It sounds amazing! Back in '92 I remember putting countless hours work into this song, maybe as many as 50. It was a real labour of love. I've invested at least as much time on the GarageBand version. I hope it shows.
