Song Information:

I found this song on the net a few months ago and loved it and recorded the guitars but never got around to mixing it. All this week I have been listening to live music and some great guitar players and performers which made me want to record something. Not having my guitar here I tried singing but the acoustics in the boat and the MacBook mic plus the iPod earphones made it difficult. After some experimenting I found that recording in the little forward cabin aint so bad with the MacBook.

A lot of time went into tweaking as the iPod earphones never seem to give the same sound, hope it sounds ok on your side.

The song is Lead Belly's "Where did you sleep last night" or "Black Girl" or even "In the pines" depending on the version you listen to. It is an old traditional song.
