Song Information:
I wrote this song a while back and performed it regularly. But, it always felt like it was missing something and had too much 'Me' in it. I wanted to add something I didn't have. Then came Slumbering. I imagined her voice in duet in the chorus arrangement and always considered the song that way.
So, when this project came to being, I was overjoyed at the result. This version is the instrumental version with my "lead" vocal extracted. When mixing Slumbering's part of the song, this is how I had to listen to the song to balance it correctly.
It's absolutely wonderful and I listen to this mix far more often than to the one with my vocal in it (primarily cuz I can sing along to it... I know the words!).
