'Bout halfway through 2004, my first year as a MacIdol member, I decided to quite literally "play around" with a short symphonic piece. I tried to make it playful and serious at the same time. 'Petite Pop Piano Concerto in G" was the result and it consists of three "movements" (they were originally posted separately at MacIdol, and the second was called "A Little More Movement"). I've remixed the whole thing, replacing the original piano I used with the Orchestra Steinway and the harpsichord (which was a free download EXS24 instrument from the web and which always seemed shriller than harpsichords already are) with the Orchestra Harpsichord, both from the Symphony Jam Pack. Each of the three mini-movements ends with a single "dong" on the tubular bells, but I can't remember why I did this. This 2008 remix is mastered with Ozone 3; the only reverb on the entire track is the Ozone 3 plate mastering reverb.
