Oh wow! I've just realised that this year is the 20th anniversary of this song! It's a song against all forms of suicide, be it fundamentalist warfare or a significant other who broke your heart.
I sing this one to myself when times are hard on me. It reminds me of who would really be hurt if I left. It's intended in this project to also remind another that the best way to avoid feeling like shit from missing somebody is to get back together with them. Willing destruction of the relationship only ends our story too soon, Lissa.
