On Saturday, it's crunch time. On Saturday I learn why I must walk alone, and whether that has to be completely alone or with her friendship. In anger I forced her hand. I didn't mean to force her hand, I didn't even realise it was anger, but the net effect is we are meeting where we first kissed, and my heart is heavy.

I have to let go of the love that taught me the true face of love. I have to accept friendship in its place, or possibly never see her again if I don't deport myself with respect. Hence this song.

I'm rather keyed into James Taylor's [i]The Lonesome Road[/i] at times like these. It's probably quite a bit short of that mark, but it's my attempt.
