This 14th -- and probably final -- tune in the Yesterday's Tomorrows album was inspired by visions of scientists and science fiction writers who have predicted humans living in undersea domes, harvesting the bounty of the oceans. In fact, there are already some oceanic resorts, including one off Key Largo, Florida, and a chain of Hydropolis undersea resorts are now being planned (see [url]http://www.crescent-hydropolis.com/[/url]). So, yesterday's tomorrows are finally upon us.
This original MIDI tune -- contrasting life above and below sea level -- features multiple tracks of two great Linplug AU softsynths -- Albino 3 and Sophistry -- along with four Wizoo string tracks, a Pearl DRX1 drum track, horns, harp, and miscellaneous percussion. Remixed on 11/24 and again on 11/26 to make some fixes and to add a little length. Mastered with Ozone 3.
