Song Information:
Throughout history, scientists have tried to find or invent the ultimate energy source: the perpetual motion machine: a machine that outputs more energy than it takes to operate it or that generates energy out of nothing. The perpetual motion machine crops up in the oddest places: Creedence Clearwater Revival sings "You can ponder perpetual motion" in "Up Around the Bend"; you can buy a perpetual motion machine for decoration in The Sims; a quantum version even shows up in Dan Brown's "Angels & Demons" novel. And, in the late '60s, I produced and engineered Austin-based Mariani's only album, "Perpetuum Mobile", featuring boy guitar wizard Eric Johnson.
This original MIDI tune (the only loops are Groove Monkee drums) features multiple tracks of Linplug's Albino 3 and Alpha 3 software synthesizers.
