Who knows. I've been listening to the Old Crow Medicine Show a lot having seen them last week.
The chorus line is a quip in Bo Diddley's version of Down Home Special (aka I'm going Home).
The rest is just pieces of the world gathering together in the whirlpool of my life. There's a story to it but it's kind of spattered on the wall, and there's pieces missing. Catchy though ";~)
