This song is dedicated to slumbering
It was written very quickly when slumbering suggested we do a song together, and is inspired by the puzzle of trying to imagine how our two styles would work together.
As sometimes happens I had an idea of how I wanted it to sound but couldn't quite get to grips with it. slumbering did some beautiful backing vocals that worked perfectly for the ocean sound I imagined, and B&Massa added a wonderfully rolling bass to a somewhat loose rhythm guitar. It was almost there.
That was a year ago.
Then two or three nights ago I played the track and realised I pretty much liked it as it was. I resang my part to deal with level issues and flat notes, and added a deep acoustic guitar part and Bob's your uncle.
