The hunter, Orion, is one of the brightest constellations in the Northern hemisphere. Borne from Greek mythology, Orion is perhaps the best known constellation, as well. But the mythology of Orion predates even the ancient Greeks, who named it: the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure may well be an ancient Egyptian sky-map of Orion's famous belt.
