Originally started because I wanted to do a song with harmonica in it - the seed was planted this week by our State elections, where we had to make a choice between incompetence and insanity, but also relates to the bigger picture in the US, the UK and Australia (and many other places I suspect). Not really a protest song as such, but a stream of consciousness with politics and politicians in mind. It also relates to personal relationships now I read it over.
No matter who you vote for, a politician always gets in!
This was done quickly, over the last 2 days (while waiting for some collab tracks to materialise), and is mostly first (and some second) takes - I tried to re-do some tracks, but they lost the spark. So, I decided to post as is, warts and all.
I really enjoyed doing this. Play it loud!
