Here's an electronic version of the song Die Stadt ("The City") written in about 1827 by Franz Schubert. It's from his posthumous collection called "Swan Songs." also posted here is my orchestral fantasy on the tune.

The music is supposed to depict night in a modern urban jungle -- it's not a very nice city.
