Influenced a little by Brian Eno's soundscapes, etc.
Sounds are mostly from a Moog synthesizer, with drums provided by Apple iTunes loops. Some Apple instruments and my own bass were also used, albeit subtly.
Gotta give credit to William Davenport and Navot Tidhar (whoever he is) for inspiration on the whole Neo Portland thing, a proposed project for the now defunct Raul Sanchez Experience (also here on MacIdol). This song was originally made as one of the opening tracks for the album by myself, and the plan (I think, if you can call it that) was to do alternating songs by William and myself.
