Song Information:

In my first serious band, our singer left to pursue an "alternate" life on the North Coast of NSW. It sort of happened like this, although the outcome is unknown. Ian, if you see this, I hope you like it!

I wrote this after buying my first harmonica in maybe 45 years. Despite most of my songs being in D, I could only find an A harp - so wrote this in A so I could play on it.

His songbook filled with stories written in his hand
But she had unsuspected dreams about another world
And when she left he couldnt understand

Back there in his city room wishing that some change would come
Still dreaming of his place up north to live his eagle dreams
Hed really thought about it over years - he had a plan this time
His girl, guitar and surfboard still figured in his scheme
