I have been a drummer for 9 years now, but a musician for all of my life. I have music playing in my head 24/7, so I've found GarageBand to be a great medium in which to transpose that music as close as I can, despite my limited self-taught piano & composing techniques.
I look forward to the day that I can write musical notation as fluently as I can English, for then I will be able to do these sweet symphonies justice, and allow the world to hear them. Until then, I am making use of GarageBand to continue training my musical ear through arranging complex rhythms and melodies. Although I wish I could take credit for composing every melodic part, I have still taken advantage of the GB built-in keyboard, and using my mouse have composed the cello & piano parts, as well as the drum beats.
So I hope you enjoy my music, and hope drummers will find this polyrhythmic array of beats to be scintillating!
