To the right is a photo taken on the Dingle Peninsula along the west coast of Ireland facing the North Atlantic Ocean.
Through the years...
Ancient history:
Studied/played clarinet 1961-1970.
Played tenor sax in 3 different soul/motown bands 1966-1970.
Self-taught on the guitar.
Current history:
Still playing guitar and tenor sax.
Writing and recording songs since 2001.
Volunteer performing (vocal & guitar) American standards and popular tunes of the fifties and sixties once a month since 2005 at a local rehabilitation and convalescent center.
Posting songs here at Macidol since 2004, participating in various music collaborations, and otherwise enjoying the music and benefiting from the learning that results from being a part of a music community. My music includes songs drawn from the genres of folk rock, blues, rock and roll, christian, soft rock, celtic, inspirational, and pop. And here you will find some of those tunes.
