Dirk L.P. has been doing it for a MINUTE! The Alabama native began at the age of 9, with a beat machine, a 4-track mixer and a serious passion for hip-hop music. With influences from every corner of the map, Dirk has become a well-rounded artist, producer and performer. Some of his accomplishments include (but are not limited to): a debut release in June of 2002 ("Dirk:Valley of da Lost Hope") from a belly-up Texas-based distribution company, several editorials in major hip-hop periodicals (The Source Magazine: "Independents' Day" and "Off the Radar"; as well as XXL Magazine: "Show & Prove"), and opening shows for major label artists from the South (no name-dropping necessary!).
Armed with a relentless grind and incomparable talent, Dirk L.P. is determined to take the industry by force. His follow-up release: "Dirk L.P.-Round 2: the coming", is a record packed with bangers certain to turn the game around!
