Notes from the Bullpen

Today is one of those days in New England where the sun, the grass, and the day of the week gently combine to make a person smile inside and out. It's Spring and as a Maychild, there just doesn't exist a better time of the year.
This week I foresaw the coming weekend and decided to put together a song that I've always wanted to create ever since hearing the Velvet Underground's "Sunday Morning."
So, last night I "released" the song, Sunday Driving online.
It was both a fun and relaxing song to put together, especially because I basically played the whole song, except for the end, on one string. It is the cleanest song (sans effects, that is) that I've ever done, which in itself is an achievement since I my voice sounds like a sofa.
Also "released" last night is the instrumental mix of A Band-Mate of Years (Slumix), which hilights Slumbering's vocal tracks. She's not going to like it, I guarantee, but she should be proud. Her contribution has received high praise all around. That's why I posted this version.
My question: Where is Paul Brazier these days? Paul - I hope you are well, my friend. You are missed!
Stay well, and if you are reading this then, wow. Go watch television. or something else!

Podcasting.
Podcasting was big for a while and everyone wanted to have their own show. However, the consuming task of creating shows, updating them, catching up on them, linking, etc.has caused the interest in podcasts to wane a bit.
But Jay Kumar, creator of the Completely Conspicuous podcast, has been designing his own, humbled brand of music/news/media/humor podcast, despite all. I became hooked early on and continue to be a fan, looking forward to each installment. It's human, down to earth, and always informative. Plus, Jay features the Boris the Bull song, Clibopb, as part of the background music for some segments! What a thrill!
Enjoy your life today. It's the best one you've got! Thank you for checking in.

Well, today marks my first entry into a blog ever. I am not good at keeping up with this kind of thing, so hopefully if I can check back now and again to update folks on the exciting world that is Me and Boris the Bull. heh!
Today also marks my first song posting of 2008. Yep. A solemn number called A Band-Mate of Years.
I'm especially proud of the song because it is my first ever collaboration effort. Miss Slumbering, was generous and kind enough to perform on this song, giving it a wonderful depth that I have never heard in any of my songs before. Thank you, Slumbering! A million-two times!
Thank you for checking in. Be well and may you find smiles everywhere!
