Biography "Do not allow peer pressure to force you to conform to a style other than your own. Be true to your own instinct," is a motto learned from her first college music theory professor, Alfred Hoose. With roots in Trinidad, W.I., Georgia, Portugal, Senegal, India, China, Scotland, and New York, Asia was exposed evrything fron Doo Wop to Hop, Drum & Bass, Reggae and Punk Rock. She was born in Boston and raised in Lynn, MA.
