In 2001, best childhood friends William George and Max Manning received drums and a guitar, respectively. After putting off music for almost 4 years, they took what they knew of their instruments and played together as Uncalledfor. In August 2005, they recorded their self-titled 7-song debut album. After the first album was recorded, they added guitarist Clinton Mullins and bassist Amelia Whitfill. In April 2006 Uncallefor changed it’s name to Relying On Irony. They also have begun recording at Krystal Music in Campbellsville, KY and an album is expected sometime in the middle of 2006.
