| I began making music in the fall of 2000 when I bought a G4 and a Roland XP-30. My early attempts were somewhat crude, and this was the third piece I wrote. It was written in about three hours on Thanksgiving Day, 2000, but I'm still fond of it. The title and music are supposed to evoke a romantic novel with a typical cover which depicts a lady in her nightgown fleeing a gloomy old mansion.
