| Beginning in 1983, I picked up a synthesizer. Previously, I played guitar but I found myself attracted to the sounds of the burgeoning Techno scene. Over time, I collected more gear and began to record on a 4-Track PortaOne by Tascam. Selling my car helped. Briefly used Steinberg-Jones v1.1 in 1989 on an Atari 1040. A perfect combination. I moved to a hardware sequencer in 1990. I then went to Opcode's "Vision" after getting a Mac in 1996. GarageBand came along and I was able to compose music again under OS X. |
