About Union label

 Union label Info
About       John and Matt are from Fairhaven, MA and have been playing together for years. Union Label was the band they had when they moved to Boston. Jim was a solo singer songwriter and released an album called Toots Rambles, and played in a group by that name with Kris Delmhorst, Ry Cavanaugh and Sean Staples. When that group broke up, Jim and John played together in the Nathan Thompson Band. Jeff played in the Boston band Amphibian and many others too numerous to mention, along with being very busy between his travels as an Ilio technical rep, occasional tours with Peter Gabriel, and his drumming duties with Dave and Katie Champagne's group, the Heygoods. Jim, John and Jeff played in Fire in the Boathouse. Union Label re-formed to play Matt and John's original compositions and Jim and Jeff were invited to play along...
Now they do some of Jim's compositions too as a real collaboration.
The demo CD was recorded in the winter-spring-summer-fall of 2004 at Q Division Studios in Cambridge, MA by Matt Tahaney and Matt Beaudoin.

Jim also has lots of his solo stuff here on Macidol that is recorded in Garageband at his home studio and you can find it here
