Oh yeah, this is a song of the Northwest to be sure. Oregon to be exact. Been there done that, got the soggy T-shirt to prove it too. Having lived in Forest Grove and Tillamook I know where the inspiration for this one comes from. It's funny, when you tell a Texan about the rain, they just get this glazed over look in their eyes and walk away. Not a clue.
Enough about Rain, now about "Rain Falls Down". Nice song guys. Good structure, great playing and the lyrics make sense. It's a good song and I like it. I think you need to work on the production a little, maybe separate the tracks some more in the stereo field and bring up the guitar a little on the lead. Also the vocal and harmonies are a little too far back in the mix. Otherwise it's ready
Great job guys, look forward to hearing more from you.

I like what you've done on this Alan. It kind of reminds me of the Doobie Brothers a little bit and also some Buffalo Springfield running through the track. Nice piece of work guys, Kudos to you and ken and the rest of the guys.

Great song guys. Exceptional lyrics, good music and great vocals. My only thought would be to remix it with the vocal up just a little, and I mean just a little. Also on the lead break, the lead guitar is buried in the mix to where I could hardly hear it.
Keep in mined Alan that i do have some hearing loss so you might want to just listen to it again to see if what I'm saying about the mix is right or not.
No matter, it's still a great song and I love it. Be cool guys and keep it up, you doing great.
